Volunteer with the PA

Welcome to the CPE1 PA Volunteer Opportunities!

There are many ways to get involved with the PA, from co-chairing a committee to volunteering at an event. It doesn’t have to be a year-long commitment. Even an hour or two of your time can make a huge difference.

Opportunities to Volunteer

Below are some of the ways you can volunteer with throughout the school year. Visit our Google form to sign up and for a complete list of ways you can help.

Class Ambassadors

Moderate WhatsApp community group for class grade and recruit other volunteers to help. Arrange meet-ups for your grade band normally one each season. This can be as simple as a meetup at the playground on a Saturday.

Enrollment Committee

The Enrollment Committee helps with outreach to other families to let them know just how special CPE1 is. Activities include promoting upcoming school tours, sharing information about CPE1 online in various parent groups as well as at local libraries and community spaces. It’s all about connecting with other families and spreading the word about the wonderful opportunities at CPE1 for prospective students.

Classroom Supplies Committee

Help purchase and deliver cooking and other classroom supplies to teachers.

Translation

Are you fluent in Spanish and passionate about keeping our community connected? We’re looking for volunteers to help with Spanish translation at our PA meetings and for our various communications throughout the year. This vital role supports our commitment to ensuring all families are well-informed and can actively participate in school activities. By volunteering, you’ll help bridge the language gap and make sure every parent has access to the important information they need

Fall Festival

The Fall Festival is a huge undertaking which means we need help with every aspect of the event! We especially need people to volunteer to help with planning and to staff tables and activity areas in 2-hour shifts on the day of the event. If you are interested in volunteering please let us know where you’d like to help and a member of our planning committee will reach out with more details. Sign up here.

Book Swap

Coordinate volunteers to collect, sort, and set up books.

Online Auction

Solicit and organize donations, maintain auction website, promote event to the community and distribute items to winners.

Game Night

Plan indoor and outdoor games for families.

Staff Appreciation Luncheon

The luncheon hosted by the CPE1 PA and involves providing food donated by parents decorating the room, managing the program, and handling cleanup. It’s a fantastic opportunity to give back to our teachers and make this event memorable and special for them.
